Whats on my Mind - December

So I was planning to write this post for quite sometime now after landing in Gurgaon and stumbling across some amazing stuff over the last month. I am hell lot excited about how things went by pertaining to my staying with family over every weekend now(thanks to the proximity of my office and home :* :*).

I would try and do a similar kind of post every weekend or fortnight (owing to availability of time which is scare because of the nature of my job :) ) But, its not that I am complaining, I achieved what I wanted for so long that I can kill a person for my present profile. I get to learn so many new concepts from some of the experts in the finance sector & try to figure out how I could retain the said logic and apply that in the best possible way.

Enough been said about my work :P. Now it's time for whats been keeping me off the radar, helping me zipping back to routine. I don't know this new definition of excitement and fun is acceptable or not but you all know I never bog down to what others follow :) So here we go....

The Great Debaters - Movie Review

If you are wondering why such an old movie ? The answer is simple, I saw it recently ;)

Are you a fan of Denzel Washington? If Yes, you ought to watch this one, The great debater would strengthen you claims of him being a flawless actor. If Not, you ought to see how he is undoubtedly an actor who can pick off any role and draw magic with a finesse. No matter how sublime or overtly powerful the role is, Mr. Washington does not fail to amaze his fans.

As far as the cast is concerned , its chosen with a touch of perfection. Whether its Henry Lowe (Nate Parker) with his rugged charm or Samantha Brooke (Jurnee Smollett) with an awe-inspiring elegance, all character take the story to a defined destination. The story leaves you with how in reality a team of debater can influence an entire society and play their part in an immensely intriguing way.

Majority doesn't decide what is right or wrong, one's conscience does. - Samantha Brooke

With powerful dialogues , a gripping screenplay and a bunch of polished actor. The story unfold where Henry Lowe is sitting inside a seedy bar trying to gather female attention. He lands up in a fight with one of the girl's husband- much to his disgust but is rescued by Melvin Tolson. Lowe is well versed with profound literary creation which is evidently showcased in the opening scenes.

The following morning he is awaken with a shock in his class where Melvin B. Tolson (Denzel Washington) lands in as one of the professors at the predominantly black Wiley College.

Melvin decides to forgo his search for a debate team which is administered with despair by his fellow colleagues. With much resistance he is successful in choosing four powerful debaters from the class who aim to smash all records , thus putting African American as a contender.

After some invincible wins they are invited by the prestigious Harvard University to challenge their debate team. The events are based on true happenings and the way the script is penned down is sublimity at its best. All characters even for a fraction does not fall short of persuading your inner instincts.
The motive of movies like The Great Debaters, Freedom Writers, Lean on Me is to portray and spread an unending plight of black in the initial period. Feelings full of disgust , people who loath them just because of their being black is strongly condemned because it is your acts who should define your true worth rather than the outer decisive image. The movie showcases not only day to day humiliation but also lynching in one of his scenes which leaves everyone disturbed.

The team goes on to win their toughest and the most distinguished Harvard Debate and are tagged as un-precedented . The story later reveals that 10 teams after the winning of the very first time took the world by storm , winning almost every event they vouched for. Dr James Farmer Sr. (Forest Whitaker ) portrays an influential educationist and the father of one of the debaters . He is shown to transform from a restricted/ reserved man to being a strong willed father. The events which compel him to shed his solidarity is due to the emotional strength his son exhibit by supporting Melvin in his rebellious acts of fighting for the community. Melvin Thomson is referred as a radical , not keeping in terms with the situation vying for more rights of their own. Melvin is concerned about the circumstances that surround African American and is twice arrested just to be freed on being threatened by James Farmer.

The frequent usage of "An unjust law is no law at all." shows how restricted the society was in the 30's. With some breathtaking visuals and spectacular acting this movie is bound to take you by storm.

The Irony- Chapter Pune

Ever wondered why we are excited to explore a side and suddenly we cringe at the thought of it. I have come across many such instances in the last few months. So here’s my journey to Pune and just in 2 months how I started loving this place which was proving to be a nightmare at the start.
So it was 11th June when I boarded the 3 am flight and landed to this beautiful city full of life. I am a big Bombay fan which grew distinctly stronger during my 3 months stint there. But Pune has an essence invariably startling to any city I have been to so far. It has an amazing sense of beauty, serenity, loveliness & excitement all at the very same time. Especially the weather which is pleasant all year round, one could get the chills even in the hot summery days. I loved that fresh smell which would help you remember how beautiful life is.
So enough of my psychotic remarks let’s move on to my first day. It was a nice experience & I loved every minute of it, but I wasn’t sure how long would I continue here as the profile was not what I was looking for.

Pune has an immense dimension of its own. With quality retro’s and bars spread across the city it has some unique cafe’s which are a thrill for all kinds of people. Being a book lover and a chai addict I was particularly excited to visit the “Book-Chai cafe” at every possibility. I tried all their stuff, especially the masala tea which is beyond expression. They were nice for allowing me to click some pictures at their brilliantly built condo; it was always a relaxing experience to be there.
I visited a small cupcake cafe (would be sharing the pics soon), the ladies who held the place were beautiful and has an amazing sense of creativity which was evidently felt in their cakes and desserts. I am glad I visited the place with one of my friends- Angelina.
Pune is the first city which gave me an opportunity to pay rounds for some nicely crafted outlets. From cafe’s , bookstores to new start-up firms which are striving to make a stand in this place. I am glad I could pay a visit to some most innovative people I have ever met.
Another fabulous thing that happened was that I met some amazing people and made some exquisitely nice friends ( I would say friends for life). I would like to specially mention Kshetra who was an adorable chap. Miss you darling, Prachi & Angelina who were so supportive when I needed someone to hear my problems. Miss you guys a lot. I wish them all the luck in the world & love which knows no bound. Stay Happy, Stay Blessed always:* :*
What I learn during this stage :
1.       I started managing everything on my own. Though I was a residential student during my MBA on campus still when you are working you need to keep everything at it’s best. So from managing finances to cooking, from handling laundry to ironing stuff I did everything on my own. Not to mention I was staying in a fairly new city with no acquaintance what-so-ever.
2.       Exploring new places just to pass time (I haven’t done that before)
3.       Travelling, walking long distance as conveyance is the only issue in Pune I guess.
4.       Being ready with a rain-coat or umbrella as you might be completely drenched in the rain , the next moment after the weather is all bright & clear.
So after 2 months and 20 days I moved to the Mughal city Hyderabad. Will carry on my adventures (a word I like using and not doing :P) in the next post. Till then stay tuned !

The Dilemma

It was a wonderful day, the board meeting went fabulous, my pending promotion might surely get an approval from the GM.

Banggg !!

Blood splashed across my face, a pregnant lady was just hit by a speeding car. My mind was blank !!
What Should I Do?

My heart was throbbing to help the lady, she was lying their unconscious, but something in me refused to go any further...
Heart: “I must help the lady, she desperately needs my help, the driver had run away, there’s no one around to rush her to the hospital, my heart compelled my conscience to provide a promising hand in the lady’s direction”...
Mind: “NO”, my mind stopped me . How can you help the lady, what about the repercussions ? What if you are proved guilty of harming the lady? What if things turn upside down? What if you might have to a pay a price for the imprudent actions of someone else?
Don’t act silly?? Just sit in your car & head straight home. You wife is waiting, what about all good news you wanted to share with her? What about the vacation you were planning with your family all this while. Stop this non-sense & act smart....
Heart: “ACT SMART?? MY foot !!”-She will probably lose  both her’s & the baby’s life...

I got near her & called for help, a guy helped me take her to the hospital in my car. After 5 hours of operating on her the Doctor white clad, came near me & my wife.
“You saved two life’s today, Mr Sen. Just because of you, we were able to operate successfully on her, a cesarean had to be carried out as she was weak & was not responding completely. The baby & mother are doing perfectly fine.” “You are a lucky wife Mrs. Sen ” , the doctor said in an enticing tone...
We then called the lady’s husband , whose number was obtained by the doctor during the operation. A young guy arrived in no time, he was all red & headed towards the ICU, where the doctor advised him to meet us regarding what all happened to his wife.
He told her ”That Nisha (his wife, the injured lady), was coming back after applying for a maternity leave as his delivery was pending in the course of some days, later when he tried calling her, the mobile was switched off. ”
I told him about what all happened & he kept on saying thank you all this while we were in the hospital. My senses felt soothed, I was really on cloud nine. I won the dilemma; my head & heart faced that very moment. I got rid of all the negativity in an instance when  I heard the doctor thanking me.

We were allowed to visit Nisha the next day, she thanked me & my wife in hushed tones, she had really gone weak after severe loss of blood, but luckily the baby was a healthy bundle of joy, all fair & cute. He was adorable no doubt.
Nisha asked me: “Can, I know the name of my saviour Sir.”

Me: “Kartik" I said  with a winking smile.

Nisha: “We will name our son Kartik, Okay Raj? ” She looked at her husband.

They both smiled to each other.

I was in a cross road, the gravest situation I had ever faced, My heart said “Yes” but my mind refused to go forward. I was victorious...

My wife sat watching me admiringly the whole time I drove her home....

P.S: Based on a true story !!

Dear Diary - A Short Story

Dear Diary - 16th January 2010, 4 am
"One Learns from oneself the most in life" And in today's hectic life , solitude is a rare way to pensively vent out one's thought. I love my solitude and have my private moments at times. I just love to have a book beside me and enrage in my deep thoughts, contemplating on the characters or something else.

Courtesy : visualphotos.com

She was just about to close her Diary but opened it taking a new page as if describing her worries on a fresh new leaf. She had a I-really-want-to-know-the-truth grin and a twitched eyebrow could have made it clear for anyone to picture that she was gravely tensed.

Dear Diary - 16th January 2010, 4:30 am
Do you think I did the right thing by leaving Ishaan? I should have given him a chance to explain things, but I was convinced he would only lie to me about his stint with Aiyeshaa.
I trusted him with all my heart but when Rajan told me that Ishaan was double dating me and Aiyeshaa, I was flabbergasted at my ignorance.
I know in love you need to trust the one with whom you are sharing every bit of your emotions but is trusting and still not completely having faith the right mix for a desired emotional connect ?

She contemplated for about an hour before shutting the diary and tucking it under her mattress.

For the last 10 days everyone in the library seemed to take notice of a girl who was stuck from Morning 6:30 to evening till 8 in an isolated corner, either engrossed deeply in a book or staring at the table in front of her with a face that wanted to know- what Life is. She was always a miss during her lectures.

Mr. Banerjee threw the chalk right in the air landing exactly on Raima's head. "Yes ! YOU miss Ghosh. Could you please decode the last stanza of The Vile for us."

Raima was a aghast with the gesture and stood up in accordance to show some not so fervent respect to Mr. Banerjee- her English teacher.

She fumbled, merely speaking. At last, she went out at the pretext of not being well for the past couple of days. With a cough just to make it seem real altogether. With Mr. Banerjee, used to such excuses, she was allowed.
She reached home at around 3 in the afternoon and frantically pulled out her diary from under the mattress.

Dear Diary - 28th January, 3:05 pm

I can't let him go, just like that. I want him to at least express the reason of him not being loyal to me. I can't let go off those crazy encounters with Ishaan, those lovely memories lay in my head and keep dancing with a sad face. I just want him back, but How ?

Raima lay asleep , her Diary open , her socks on the pillow, her ink pen leaking on the floral bedsheet . Just as the pen was about to make a thick black rim on the mattress lower end , the doorbell rang.

Raima woke up, went straight to the door. She saw Ishaan standing with a bouquet of roses , trying to follow his gesture with a meek smile.

"Raima", I am sorry. But can you please give me a chance to explain.

Raima couldn't believe her eyes. Was she dreaming !

"Here! These are for you." Ishaan responded.
"Give it to that Bitch....Whom you  kissed so passionately, in front of the whole school" Raima rebuked. She had a firm warning in her voice
"I thought you would give me a chance before accusing me of something so grave."

Without Raima interrupting, Ishaan spoke hastily.

"Let me finish first". He knew Raima was behind him in all anger
"I was not cheating on you. Aiyeshaa was blackmailing me from quite sometime now. She liked me and wanted me to break off with you and make her my girlfriend.
But I was too stern on my part. I said a clear NO. "
She Photo-shoped a picture of us , it clearly appeared that we were kissing and hence the entire school was forced to believe something that was just a rumor and had no reality in it"
Ishaan paused for breath. He started again with a zeal to make his love convince and make her believe that he was the same Ishaan who was head over heels in love with her for the past 4 years.

"I thought you loved me Raima. I thought you would listen to me once. I thought we had the power to fight all odds and judge a situation without settling for the viewpoint of both our hearts put together."
"But you failed me, Raima"

Raima was speechless. She muttered
"But why did you leave me so abruptly. You should have called me. Or come here like you did today". Her voice echoed the disgust at her own self and the love she had for Ishaan.

"I am sorry, but the way you looked at me that day, standing through the hallway, made me realize that we need to part in order to understand each other's worth." He sighed.

"I love you from the core of my heart, deepest of my thoughts, with all vulnerability and strength"
He smiled as she gestured him to sit down

He held her hands in his. She was about to let go but the grip was firm. She sat next to him.

"Raima , I owe you my everything. But believe me. I thought a lot in the past 13 days, it made me realize how much you mean to me, But the way your trust broke held me in an angst that I never knew existed. I was numb from that moment.
I thought that it would get over with time, but the fear of loosing you helped me get in tune with my true self"

"I gathered in the solitude that it's you that I want to spend the rest of my life with and no one else"
Ishaan took out a copy of the photo that held the entire school by storm and marked the tweaked pictures with a red marker. With a closer look Raima could evidently make out that it was not a real click.

"I love you too..."
She ran to her room bringing her diary in the living room and showed Ishaan what she wrote just an hour ago.
He was about to flip the pages when she grabbed the diary from the edge and closed it. Smiling she said... "After marriage, You can read my Diary". She said with a tone full of admiration, love, essence, authenticity , figuring out how her love won.

She hurriedly said.
"You should leave, Maa might come here any moment."

He tip toed form the living room and waved to her once he reached to face the turn on the lane.

Solitude is bliss indeed. I would have never known the essence , the power of my love if the incident and the series of events had not taken an ugly shape. He gleamed with a smile.

Half-Girlfriend : An unrealistic transformation from 5 point someone to this good !

The Book :
Writer - Chetan Bhagat
Priced @ Rs 176, but you can grab the book @ Rs 97 from Amazon
Publisher : Rupa Co. Ltd.

Review : The narration is flawlessly penned down. Addressing the key issues faced by a Bihari Boy making his way in the exemplary St.Stephen's with a Sports quota. A journey of how this truly despo yet determined guy make's his heart wrench for the posh Delhi girl Riya. Riya is smart yet reserved personality who is also successful in getting a seat at Stephen's with her basketball quota similar to Madhav. She is quite succinct to reveal any secrets with any of her friends. She then meets Madhav Jha who despite sharing their love for basketball are poles apart. But that's the magic and how Chetan Bhagat adores this lovely tale, coining the weird half-girlfriend saga. Bhagat has largely transformed a girl-boy relationship who are immature to commit to each other or possibly in dilemma as to whats in store considering the differences in their respective societies with the term half-girlfriend. The story unfolds when Madhav visits Bhagat at one of his trips to Patna for a book launch and hands him the journals of Riya whom he believes is dead by now. It is when Bhagat after innumerable tries of not laying his hands on those torn pages, go past them and calls Madhav again to hear his side of the story. For those who are big fans of Chetan and for those who condemn his genre this is a must try ; as an enormous transition would be evidently felt with this book. The language, emotional connect is immensely enchanting. Without revealing much I would end up by saying that it's a must read this year. So just 5 more days to go.

Snapshot :
A luring boy Madhav ... meets the adorable High-Class Riya
He fells in love with her, thinking that she feels the same. But destiny has its plan- only to leave them apart with Riya marrying a rich NRI and breaking off with him after a while. Only to meet Madhav in Patna where he is taking English classes to impress the Bill Gates foundation for capturing a grant for his rural School in Dumraon- a small town in Bihar. They meet each other by chance and then a series of event entangle them to come really close only to part for ever... With Riya leaving Madhav with her abominable coughing would they ever meet again. Or would Madhav leave her to destiny only to die alone ??

Real Togetherness

A lady goes to a Swami (a saint) and ask what she should do as she has a doubt on her husband. She is suspicious that his husband is having an affair with another women.
The swami retorts : There's an easy to find out. Just take your husband's phone to that lady's house & see if the wifi gets connected automatically. :) ;)

*Gross but hilarious, isn't it *
So this joke was mentioned to give a direction as in how technology has entered our lives in all forms- big & small and has captured us in his vicious traps and no matter how disgusted we are devoting our family time on it we still don't stop the crap. I wonder why !

We all have come across people who insanely keep on answering office calls or texting so called "IMPORTANT" people while as a marriage or that guy who keeps finding a possible signal during the "Pheras" (Hindu traditional wedding ceremony, where the bride & groom pay their rounds in front of the holy fire)

So why aren't we enjoying our time with family & friends , our dear one's whose presence really matters. If you die today would he phone you had treated so preciously moan over your death or you would crave that your family remembers you. Memories are made when we spend small little moments with our buddies, crack unscrupulous jokes & have fun times. Nobody will ever bother to remember you when they find it hard to grasp your last joke or when you were a part of a special occasion . So friends what do we do in such circumstances ? I understand that calls can not be neglected & it's one of the best ways to connect when you are staying away from family.
Yeah that is the thing if you have access to visiting your family at any possibility phone should be the least expense you are bounded with. So better keep that phone away & enjoy the real pleasures of life. That beautiful air which brings back old memories, those innocent kids chattering, fresh flowers blooming, helping or laying a kind hand to someone in need. Staying up with your parents and talking petty things even after you didn't realize it's 4 in the morning.

These little & spectacular things make life not technology. Though I accept the fact how it has made life easier, conceptualizing connectivity & taking it to a whole new level. But have we come closer or parted ways with this so called "Amazing Intervention" which has ripped down our privacy & mode of expressions. Instead of a tight hug & kiss our mother's desire we are left with a smiley to offer?

Where are the technology less-expression more-gifts ? The special-someone's-presents, spending time with those we love the most. We earn to make our lives easier so that once we retire we have both time & money to do what we always wanted. Bu does that mean that we loose on time at our hands, times like family gatherings, wedding where we can find solace from our hectic lifestyles.
I am sure the answer is NO but I am afraid this is what we are doing.
So "Real Togetherness" is not sticking with technology but getting rid from the chains :):)

Love you folks !

Beauty Lies Underneath

“The Beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides”- Audrey Hepburn

Who doesn't desire a flawless skin and what could be better than ensuring the same with herbal ingredients. I have been using a couple a herbal remedies or homemade stuff since forever and my skin remains acne-free and beautiful forever. In this post I would be sharing some personal favourites for a beautiful & glowing skin. It’s easy yet definitive.
Herbal ingredients not only equip your skin combat day -to-day worries but they come with no side effects as well unlike the chemical cosmetics we rely on for quick-fixes.

I have been relying lately on a simple method to fight my prevalent acne and it helps me stay beautiful and glowing all year round.

1.Equal Quantity of strained lemon juice mixed with Rose water. After each wash you should apply a little amount on your face and let it dry. Leave it so. This work wonders for anyone concerned about frequent break outs.

2.Take a pinch of turmeric and a tablespoon of sandalwood powder(soft not coarse), mix both the ingredients with a the right quantity of rosewater to form a paste. Apply and leave it for about 20 min. Wash with lukewarm water and then splash some cold water on the face just to close any open pores. This remedy if best for an instant glow. One can add some fuller’s earth for extra softness.

3.Vicco Turmeric Cream with foam base is a beautiful product. It’s loaded with the right amount of turmeric to help your facial cells fight daily worries and pollution keeping it soft and supple. Me and my mother always keep a tube handy and use it almost daily at night. I think that it’s one of the best products in the herbal category and beats the cosmetic one’s impeccably.

I would suggest this spectacular product to be used almost daily for your skin to ensure that the life of your facial cells get enhanced and helps get rid of day-to-day ailments. It not only help combat acne but also gives a shine to the face providing a natural glow. The texture of the cream is super-soft and smells heavenly. I am in love with the new foam base one as it absorbs so quickly giving it a beautiful edge and keeping in view that there are no chemicals to be scared off.

I personally prefer herbal products over cosmetics as the latter may provide a quick fix but it completely drain out the natural hydration process. On the contrary herbal products help make new facial cells and rejuvenates it from scratch thus helping it maintain the natural balance and fighting severe conditions that leaves our skin dull. For all those ladies out there using a lot of high-end cosmetic products I would thus like to suggest that start trying herbal products and you will see the difference for yourself.

That was from my side. I hope you will love the remedies. Do let me know if it creates a difference of how your skin feels.

Take care folks !

Prisoner With this Book

The Book The Essence and The Author
Choosing a genre much talked about today yet the least explored by authors, Tabric C has carved himself a niche on the writing front. My senses demand more from the author. I loved every bit of the book excluding a few excerpts which leave one worn out in between. Enthralling,  gripping and an amazing read… Prisoner Jailor Prime Minister is undoubtedly an engaging piece of writing which not only reflects the journey of a man with an extremely different background choices entering in the political arena but also compels the reader to introspect the choices being made in life across time.  With this book the writer promises a host of ideas woven intricately into a master piece. After a long time a novel repealing some POLITICALLY correct insights yet discrete at times. I could not resist myself by drawing similarities between an old favourite writer of mine "Federick Forester" with the way Tabric C discusses the scenes and bring the reader to the uniquely carved point in talk. The places are not unique enough for readers who have gone through certain preferences deriving source from the same theme yet it different in numerous sorts of revelation.

Plot
The story revolves around Siddhartha Tagore, a musical maestro often titled as the Mozart Man in the halls of Harvard who imparted with sudden political uplift, holding his life and choices at bay he begins on a journey which is intriguing on many instances. He carries forward the legacy his father has left behind him.  Politics to him seems bizarre at first but later on with numerous reckonings and moments of vindication he find himself to being an integral part of the Indian Political System. The writer carves interesting character around the protagonist , starting from his roommate Greg who everyone refers to as Priest, The beautiful and mesmerising twin sisters Karishma and Rubaya who drives him crazy every now and then during his stint at Harvard.  The story uniquely takes up issues like corruption and terrorism in the country and the contexts are broaden by the amazing sense of Siddhartha on an array of political issues and unbiased opinion on the Pakistan-China ties. The Prime minister (Siddhartha) is also showcased as a soul being tied by his destiny and often referred to as the prisoner held captive by events in his life. The story is an interestingly knitted one with which the readers could relate to quite well. An invigorating and breathtakingly fresh read in times where most of the stuff coming our way is mundane and wearisome.  Waiting for more such books from the author with an air of fresh thoughts and ideas, compelling the readers to contemplate, absorb and redevelop on issues concerned and pertaining to choices added with a tinge of optimism and weirdness.  Not revealing any point further of one of the must-read books, I would request all my readers to get a copy and traverse your brains into the Politically sculpted world with Tabric C.

The School Bully Of Chenkal....

The school bell rang & all the boys ran towards the classroom, all dressed in white for the morning drill. "The Narayan Vidhyalya" stood tall with it's majestic architecture, a playground on one side & the large dormitory on the left, an old boys school, with a history of young scholars making their way to the US for higher studies.

'Tan-tan' the school alarm for the commencement of first period made its way, but the run was interrupted by an announcement by the Principal : "Good Morning Boys ! Please pay heed ; Each class must select two students as there representatives for the students to vote for their class scholar-cum-president " the voice broke out. There was a huge chaos in the corridor, boys wispered whom they thought would be an ideal choice in their respective classes.

Mr. Subramaniam entered the 6th grade, 'silence boys', he ordered.
"So, you all must be discussing about the class representatives for this term, I would be choosing one from my side & one would be chosen with your consent, after which, voting would be held at the end of this week. So are you kid ready?" he sighed

"Yes" the boys retorted in unison.
Mr. Naidu, is a very bright student getting an A in every subject, he is one of our football champs as you all very well know. A thinker as such a young age I would say he's the best bet for the positions, also he's has been winning a lot of medals in debate the past 2 years. So he's my selection for the class scholar, this time.

The boys clapped!!
But some one was not happy, he broke open his lunch box & adjusting his belt, took a big bite of vada dipped in sambhar. He then took another bite from another tiffin sliding it under the desk, after a moment of silence Mr Subramaniam asked, so who's the other representative you wish to name my boys? A contender for this post ?
Combing his hairs with the dirty oily fingers Chinappa stood up, I would like to give my name SIRs.

Subramaniam Sir, was taken aback, he knew that Chinappa was the class bully, no one would oppose his selection, while he was the last in class, he stood as the pioneer of inventing new methods to disturb his fellow mates & teachers. Everyone was aware of what misdeeds he committed yet no one had the guts to really complain. He was suspended several time by the Principal after teachers could not take his behavior any more, but he would still come to class at the pretext of being the Trustees Son.

"Does anyone has a problem with thata ?" he exclaimed in his tamil accent.
The teacher went to the blackboard & wrote Profit & Loss... So we would be working on higher problems from now.........he was interrupted........ But Sirs what about the Representatives? Chinappa asked in a fierce  tone?
"Does anyone has a problem guys?" The teacher asked, expecting that every child in the class would nod at this question ; a quite yes came from the crowd.

The class ended, Chinnapa made his way to the front desk & said in his hoarse voice,
"I will win, I will crush his legs who-ever-a try to vote for this smally tiny thing named Naidu, he might be a scholar but I am the unprecedented king of 6th grade, who will protect you from the harsh blows of reality if I am not there. Do you prefer life over votes? Think about it guysss, I am here lisening.... "

Nobody said a word, their was a pin-drop silence in the class, Naidu stood up from his desk & came beside where Chinnapa was standing. He said : "Yes, Chinnappa you are absolutely right, you think that you are fierce & bold, owing a tiger's might in your fist, but maybe you are wrong my friend..."

"What...." Chinnapa shouted in a rude voice. "Are you out of your mind, naidu.... ?"
"I am in my very senses Chinnapa, when the tiger has not fought with the lion he thinks he's the best, but once they come face to face & he is defeated then only he realizes true, reality..."
"So you referring yourself as the lion, Mister Naidu??"

"Maybe " retorted Naidu.
"See at your built you mouse"....
"Size doesn't matter, in fights my friend..."
"So shall I crush your head & break your legs to make you realize what trouble you have got into, after talking to me like this" Chinnappa's arrogance said.
"Not, now. Everything must occur at the right time, so be ready with your fist & whatever you got in that belly , tonight sharp at 7, near the old Chinnur lake" Naidu voiced the statement in a very calm tone

The Chinnur lake flowed near the "Askara Temple" near the daily market of Chenkal, a small town near the city. Naidu's father was a forest officer, he was always interested in studies hence his father moved to Chenkal for getting the young Naidu enrolled in the Narayan Vidhyalya. He was a man of values, he wanted the best for his family, he saved every penny he could spare wishing for a bright future for Naidu.

The Chennur Lake

On the contrary, Chinnappa's father , Mr. Govind was a rich, unruly businessman, he owned two schools, "The Narayan Vidhyalya" & other "The Old Sacred Hearts" (an all girls school). After the demise of Chinnapa's grandfather, the trustee ship of these schools went with Govind. He was a busy man of ill-customs & strange values, he loved his money more than his father's values. He would grab poor men's estate to increase his vast empire. A wealth laden over poor men blood, but somewhere down the line, he was stricken by such wrought passions because of his wife's death. He loved her more than anything & to forget that he was alone he made wealth cover for time....

To be continued.....
