Not Let you Go...

Loving you, I have been so strong
But I know it will be not like this for long
Since you would go, leaving me in distress
Surrounded by Dilemma more or less

The heart would then skip a beat
Every pass with the battalion retreat
With the dream of being your bride
Forever in lost back time

I will not let you go I promise
Only our Love will suffice

  1. You have chosen a challenging perspective - it is sad to read of a young girl's hopes and innocent belief that her love is strong enough to recall her sweetheart from war.

  11. Every pass with the battalion retreat
With the dream of being your bride

Sentiment as old as time... or as long as man has gone off to war!
